Just Chicken In sends SMS safety alerts from a toll-free number registered and verified with U.S. wireless carriers. Messages are sent only to emergency contacts who have given permission in advance. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.

Messages are sent only in connection with safety notifications and consent confirmations.
Emergency contacts must provide permission before their phone number is added to the service and before any SMS is sent. Our consent flow works as follows:
STOP, their opt-out is recorded and no further SMS alerts are sent to that number.We keep consent records for as long as the contact remains on a user's emergency contact list, plus up to 365 days in our alert-delivery log after removal, for audit purposes. Safety alerts are sent in English. Spanish-language support for related messaging is available where indicated in the app. Contacts may reply STOP at any time regardless of language.

Phone numbers are used only to deliver safety alerts and consent messages. We do not sell, rent, or use phone numbers for marketing, nor do we share them with any party except our SMS provider (Twilio) for the purpose of sending the message.
